I feel like the weather is in a true transitional stage at the moment, although it should be summer I feel we're lacking in hot days, we're more stuck in the 'warm' days. Which makes knowing what to wear a little bit harder.

Fine knits are much a much needed item for this time of year and this drape twisted top from River Island fits the bill. It's a white not a cream, which I need having yellow undertone skin. It's a really easy top to wear and the style can go with any style of jeans. I wouldn't recommend it with a short skirt or shorts, as the top is sexy by itself but you have to be aware of exposing too much flesh! It's also probably worth getting a nude or cream coloured bandae to put underneath the top at is has a habit of moving all over the place and showing off the girls.

I really enjoy the Mom/girlfriend/boyfriend ( second cousin, mother in law's brother...) jeans. But they just don't really seem to work that well on me. I lack ass so it's hard for me to find a pair that suite me. I don't think that this pair look too shoddy though! And they were very cheap ( I think £12) from Primark, I did need to belt them to make them a little bit of an extra fit........... still in the search for the perfect fit pair! But these will do for now.

Because the clothes are quite simple, I wanted to give it a bit more texture using some patterns. I am a sucker for animal print, snake, leopard, you name it! The bag I'm holding is a clutch my Grandma gave, it is real snake skin BUT it was inherited vintage. I would never buy that, but it is a lovely thing to own. The belt is from LK Bennett, the nice neutral colours work with nearly everything, plus I needed a belt to help the jeans fit! The necklace is very old from Pretty Little Thing back in the day when they only sold accessories. I needed something which would quite large, a statement necklace but nothing with bright colours and that just wouldn't fit the palette. I don't think that girls need a vast amount of jewellery, just a  few key pieces.
