When I think designer, Dolce and Gabbana is one of the first brands that spring to my mind. Their innovative clothing and unique accessorises scream style, glamour and above all couture. You can see that each collection has a clear concept and inspiration.

In my opinion the best trend/style there will ever be is brocade. The rich fabrics and edgy patterns give creativity a chance to flourish and can really be the cause of the most wonderful statement pieces.

This outfit idea started with the Sicily Bag. It shows how Brocade style doesn't always mean androgynous but can be tied in with other trends such as florals. The hardware on this is just to die for. The bronze gold is picked up in the shoes. There is something I love about this colour, it's classy but isn't in your face. The shape and pattern is just so beautiful the shoes are hard not to fall in love with.

Detailing in the bag is fabulous. The centre of the flowers have tiny Cameo's in which I just wanted to have even more of, so this skirt was just perfect. Monochrome then became the ideal for the rest of the outfit. The lace front shirt oozes elegance and I am a sucker for a pussy-bow blouse. It's slightly higher neck means it will work beautifully with layers too. This mama sweatshirt modernizes the outfit keeping it on trend, imagine it with the bow hanging over the top. Mixing one contemporary piece with classic pieces is a great way to keep outfits bang on trend.

The neck and cuffs of the shirt already have beautiful detail so any bracelets or necklaces would be completely lost. Instead just a delicate pair of daisy earrings to pull together the outfit, they are beautiful but very understated and won't detract from a more statement piece like the handbag.
